Characters
Characters are the cast of your stories. A character can be someone the AI plays, or someone you choose to play yourself.
Create a focused character
Start with the details that change how the character speaks and acts:
- A recognizable name and avatar
- A short biography that explains their role, motivations, and relevant history
- A greeting that establishes the opening scene and voice
- Traits, relationships, and boundaries that matter in conversation
Use concrete details instead of a long list of adjectives. A few specific motivations and habits are easier to carry into a scene than an exhaustive profile.
Use a character in a story
Choose a character from your roster when starting a chat. You can use any character as your own roleplay identity; it is not a separate, reduced user profile. For group scenes, add the characters who belong in the cast and let the conversation establish who should respond.
Import and discover
Museris supports community-standard PNG character cards. Import a card to add it to your roster, then review its details before using it. You can also browse characters shared through Museris.
Next: organize setting details in a lorebook.
