Lorebooks

Lorebooks keep your worldbuilding separate from character profiles. Use them for places, factions, events, rules, history, and other context that several scenes may share.

Organize by purpose

Create a lorebook for a setting, campaign, or topic rather than placing every fact in one document. Keep each entry concise and name it clearly so you can find and enable it when needed.

Examples include:

• A city’s districts, customs, and important locations
• A faction’s goals, leadership, and internal conflicts
• A timeline of events that characters should remember

Add only relevant context

Attach the lorebook to conversations that need it. Individual entries can be enabled or disabled, allowing a scene to stay focused while preserving the broader world for later.
